Multiple options were available for the sale, some of which included partial owner financing with a higher purchase price… Which was advantageous because of the ability to defer capital gains across multiple years. We had about a 10 Day delay in closing, because of peoples vacations over the winter break, but other than that, the process was smooth. I highly recommend sellers consider talking with Oak Street before they contact a real estate agent – or at least before they signed a contract with one. The freedom of not. Having to maintain the house for showings, or wondering when it’s going to sell has been a blessing.
